Café Colette is a small café located on North 9th Street and Berry Avenue very in the now famous and trendy area of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The place is cosy and well decorated with some black and white pictures and contemporary paintings ; some may say that you could almost feel like you are somewhere in Europe.
One thing very important if you want to make sure you will get a table, you do not want to arrive there too late because the place can get pretty crowded after noon on the weekends… You never know, if the sun is out, you may even be lucky enough to seat on one of the very few tables outside.
As for the food, the menu is pretty simple but everything seems appealing. Sandwiches look great and omelets are just excellent. Our next table neighbor told us their fish tacos tasted wonderful. Do not forget to ask for a fresh squeezed orange juice : you will not be disappointed because it will be fresh and squeezed. And if you are into intense caramel experiences, you may want to try the Panacotta…
On top of all this, prices are reasonable, the waiters are smiling, the service is efficient : this place is simply a must-go !
